When you live in a city with high clay content in the soil, the downspout is a critical component of your eavestrough system. Downspouts control where all the collected water from your rain system is expelled, and directing this water away from your home with extensions and lot grading is important for the life of your foundation. If water exits right next to the foundation, it can cause many different problems, from leaks to foundation cracks and decay. Splashdown Eaves installs eavestrough downspout in Edmonton.
Downspouts for Residential and Commercial Applications
Splashdown Eaves uses the industry-standard 2-5/8" square downspout for most new applications. Although this product is satisfactory for residential homes, we definitely recommend the upgrade to the larger 3" square pipe that allows for the larger size outlet. The larger outlet will allow most leaves and debris to pass through, which means less cleaning and maintenance of your eavestrough.
Larger-sized downspouts are available for commercial and industrial buildings. We carry a 3"x4" or 4"x5" downspout for those high-volume, oversized gutters.
