Soffit and fascia are two very important components of your home's eaves. Aluminum fascia cover provides a barrier against the elements protecting your fascia boards, from decay. Vented Soffit provides air flow to your attic helping it to remain cool and free of condensation which can cause water infiltration and rot. Changing out your Soffit, Fascia and Eavestrough together gives you the option to change colors giving your home a completely new and updated look. It may not be as expensive as you think! Our crews are trained in the installation, repair and replacement of soffit and fascia.

What Is Soffit?
Soffit is the flat area that covers the underside of the roof’s overhang. Typically vented soffit is required to provide the attic with ventilation, which reduces condensation buildup. Condensation buildup in winter freezes along the bottom side of the roof sheathing and then melts, causing leaks and rot, leading to structural issues. Homes built prior to the mid 90's typically do not have enough insulation or venting and the buildup of condensation is common.
What Is Fascia?
The fascia is the vertical part of the eave structure where the eavestrough is mounted. This fascia area is prone to water damage, and an aluminum fascia cover is a big help in keeping this area dry while eliminating the need for repainting. Updating the soffit, fascia, and eavestrough together allows you to consider changing colours, which can have a dramatic effect on the street appeal of your home!
